# How to: Save a chat answer as an artifact

1. In the chat, open **More options** (the **⋮** at the top right of the
   chat).
2. Choose **Add to artifacts**. The conversation is saved as a document in
   the project's **Artifacts**, which you can reopen, edit or export later.

To get a single document rather than the whole conversation, ask for one —
"write this up as a report", "make a Word document of this" — and Axon saves
it straight into **Artifacts**.
