# How to: Export a full audit record of a conversation

1. Open the chat.
2. Open **More options** (the **⋮** at the top right of the chat) and choose
   **Save audit record**.
3. The record is saved into the project's **Artifacts**. Open it there, and
   use **More actions** → **Export to PDF** for a file to hand on.

The record includes what was asked, what was retrieved (including passages
that were seen but not used), and what was said — plus a flag on any
citation whose source has since changed. It can't be edited.
