# How to: Share a project with another machine

1. Open the project menu (the project name at the bottom of the sidebar) and
   choose **Share**.
2. Click **Start sharing**.
3. Read out the **pairing code** to the other machine, and **Copy** the
   **connection details** to them. The code works once and lasts ten minutes;
   **New code** makes another.
4. See who's joined under **Machines with access**; **Grant write access** to
   let a machine send changes back, **Revoke** to remove it, or **Stop
   sharing** to shut it down entirely.

Sharing your own project is a Pro feature; the other machine needs no
