# How to: Point a project at a different folder

1. Open the project menu (the project name at the bottom of the sidebar) →
   **Manage project…** → **General**.
2. Under **Sources folder**, click **Change folder…** and pick the new one.
3. Axon reports how many files need indexing again from the new folder, and
   the card above the file list offers to index them.
